Born from my love of blue and white willow patterned plates and where I live, I have created an ode to Twickenham Green, the heart to this area of Twickenham and the community. It was hard to narrow down all of the buildings and details!

This print was inspired by Dutch master flower paintings with their rich dark backgrounds, brought up to date with the check tablecloth.
The flower petals have been individually painted onto the lino to give them a painterly quality, each piece is different and takes longer to dry.

Easter in Scotland was awash with these gorgeous little Wood Anemones, wherever we went there were carpets of them. Their delicate petals fought the weight of rain droplets or dew in the mornings and I had to make a print.
